Prior to my jump on the designer bags wagon, I bought some Braun Buffel. I remember agonizing for days wondering if RM500 was too expensive to spend on a bag. How innocent I was back then, how naïve. This bag was hardly used and most of the time in storage. It’s convenient to be carried on an outing as it keeps both hands free. One word of caution though, if you’re out walking in public places, maybe carry this in front of the body for safety purposes. For a backpack, the size is quite compact.
This bag reminds me of all the episodes of S@x and the City I watched in just a few sittings! Remember how she confidently carries her clutches while going to lunches with girlfriends. The versatility of this bag comes in three; you carry it under your arm as a clutch, or attach the smaller loop to become a wristlet, and finally attach a longer strap to become an everyday small bag. The gold metal detailing on a unique shade of blue makes this bag quite outstanding.
This is also a frequent traveler. Its stylishness and ease to carry belies its roominess. No matter how disheveled you look after many hours of travel, this bag lifts you up a few notches. You can dump your passport, travel wallet, novel and sunglasses in there with ease. No problem!
The leather on this wallet is so smooth you’d think it’ll scratch easily but the brilliant minds at SFerragamo came up with some kind of leather treatment that makes this soft leather not scratch at all! I’m not the gentlest of wallet users but after using it this wallet has hardly any scratches on it!
If you want to carry your cash compactly, this wallet folds your money once and has a nice bronze metal clip to keep the wallet closed. There are several pockets to slide in credit cards. Coins are kept on the opposite side and secured with a flap and press-button. The leather is hard, durable and scratch-proof.
Celine fabric small handbag
This is an easy bag to carry for a quick lunch. It is kept close to the body for safety. Because of its relatively small size, there isn't a lot of room to put your treasures in. It does fit a long wallet and a phone easily. Else I'd recommend a smaller foldable wallet and this will leave more room for other things like a makeup pouch.

This one I fell in love with the instant I set eyes upon it. It took me a long while to save up and get it .. as I subscribe to the belief it’s unwise to have credit card debt. I finally bought it just in time for Raya so it’s my Raya One. The bag is full of character where the two straps meet the bag on both sides, the stitching is highlighted with a lighter color thread which makes it stand out. It’s very roomy and the bag opening is very wide so that you can see everything inside. Of course Celine isn’t a Celine unless it has the metal tab stamp, and this one does in the back. The bag closes with a zip and a buckle with a magnetic tab. The base is rather thick though, so while it’s oh so classy to be carried in the crook of your arm, it isn’t too stable to be carried on the shoulder because the width doesn’t fit under the arms, although the strap is long enough to be slung on the shoulder .. and in times of crisis where I needed both hands to be free, I actually do shoulder-carry it.
This is a Coach wallet with a zip-around fastener. It opens like an accordian and can display your items in one look without having to search around too much. There is a center compartment that is zipped to keep your coins safely, and six credit card slots on each side of the wallet. I also like that my cash remains straight instead of folded. The outside pocket is convenient to store parking tickets. This is the friendliest wallet I have and I only gave it up because I got a pink one for my birthday! Because it's white, it can get dirty but I was able to clean it up very easily with a leather cleaner and an old t-shirt.
